16 weeks!

We were 16 weeks this past Thursday! This by far was the toughest week. I grew 1.5 inches around in the last week. And I can feel it. I feel the stretching and the itching more than ever this week as the babies growth really starts to take off. Keeping everything under control with Mother's Special Blend several times a day now because I dry out so quickly. I think the heat really has made the symptons so much worse. This week everyday was 95-100 with heat index of 105 most days. By the time I get home from work I have no ankles! You can't even see the little bones on either side of my ankles, they are just a puffy mess. I am blessed that I don't have to stand up all day. Just a little here and there. I have officially moved to the couch at night. Doctor's orders only sleeping on my side and that has been hard. At least on the couch it supports my back. So me, Raleigh, and Oyster are all roommates in the living room. Sometimes I roll over and get licked in the face. They can't quite figure out why I am sleeping on their couch! I also think I feel the babies. Most things I read say with triplets I should start feeling them around 16 weeks. When I roll on my side, I really feel the flutters. And we did the flash light thing. When Justin would put it on certain parts of the my stomach, I could feel the flutters. So right now, hard to tell between gas and baby but in a few weeks we should start being able to see them move too.

In other news, I had a really stressful week at work and with our new house we are trying to buy. Not good for the babies at all. I really felt completely overwhelmed and had a minor breakdown. I am recovered now, and finding more peace about our situation and all the changes in our lifes. Please keep me and our family in your prayers.

2 more weeks until our next visit to the doctor.

Love, Luann and Justin + 3

Mom's are all ways right, even this early! If you think you felt your babies, then you did! I remember feeling the same way...Did I feel them...Did I not? It was around 18 weeks for me. I loved that feeling. I remember staying up late in the morning to feel them move when I had to go to work in the morning. Sleeping on the couch and the heat must be hard though. Keep up the good work! Your almost half way there!!!!
