Approaching 4 months old!

I swear, the boys get cuter and more enjoyable everyday. Seriously, who knew you could love something this much?? They are doing great. Both are smiling so much and Eli is laughing. He thinks his dad is really funny. Beckett has added all kinds of sounds to his new language. They are outgrowing their clothes each week it seems. All of the sudden nothing in there drawers fits anymore. I will come home and the nanny will have them in the funniest outfits. Camo pajamas and Christmas socks with rudolph on the toes?

Beckett made a trip to the doctor this week and has his first ear infection. He weighed 15 lbs and 7 ozs! He is so cute. The doctor walked in and said, "Is his brother this cute and chunky too?" Eli is right behind him. He weighs about 15 lbs now too. They are both such good sleepers. We are blessed in that area.. and we owe some thanks to Babywise. We followed pretty strictly ever since they were little. It works! They go to bed each night at 8pm and they sleep until 5am. Like clockwork.. They are napping good during the day too. They eat like big boys too! Justin and I figured out that we go through 4 to 5 of the big cans of formula a week. I love to see them smile. It makes me feel so good to come home from work and be greeted with those sweet smiles. They are doing good with tummy time. Eli's neck is stronger than Beckett and he can hold up the top 1/2 of his body. Neither have any interest in rolling over. I don't really have any interest either :-) Glad they stay in the same spot right now! We are regulars in the nursery now and we love being back in church.

Before the boys were born while I was on bedrest, Justin and I did lots of internet shopping. One of our favorite purchases were these Johnny Cash onesies from Folsom Prison. They were huge when we got them.. or so we thought. The boys are wearing them now and I love them!

My men .. cutest prisoners I have ever seen :-)

We have a big weekend coming up. Our family is headed into town on Friday for the boys dedication. It also coincides with the Houston Livestock and Rodeo World Championship BBQ Cookoff which we were super lucky to score tickets too... and we are going to the House of Blues Brunch this weekend. I know it will be a wonderful weekend of family and fun marking this joyous milestone in the boys life. Will share pictures soon!

Love, The Riley's

I can see Justin in their faces. They have little roles of fat that hang over their wrist. Rooks had that too. I love that! I can't wait to see them and hold them. Sounds like your weekend will be so much fun!

Hi, not sure I have ever commented on your blog...come to think of it I am not even sure how I stumbled across it either, oh well. Anywhoo, I wanted to tell you that I used Babywise as well and it was a life saver!!! My 16 months sleeps 12 hours each night and still naps 2x a day. Sleep is a wonderful thing!

Totally unrelated...my maiden name is Beckett. I love that you named one of your sons that :)
